I love Jesus, I love being married to Rob Perry, and I love being Elizabeth's and Nick's mom. I love most aspects of my life, even the difficult, challenging parts, because they are what God uses to make my faith stronger.
While I have strong convictions and opinions, I usually keep them to myself. I know I run the risk of appearing boring, or even apathetic, but I'd rather use my words to praise God and to encourage others in their walk with Him than to rant, bash or (gasp!) hurt people's feelings, and I never EVER want my words or actions to be a stumbling block. Plus, it just seems like good manners to me.
Maybe that is why I have put off blogging for so long. I am very aware of the power in words, especially printed words. I have often spent "much too long" crafting a Facebook status and then never posted it.
I have some words in me, though, and I think that I might, occasionally, put them here. I apologize in advance for the times I will, undoubtedly, embarrass my dear family....
